The Alltown Fresh project in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, involved the installation of four ChargePoint Express 250 DC fast charging stations for Global Partners. The charging infrastructure was designed to support public charging for electric police vehicles and expand access to high-speed electric vehicle charging in the community.

The project required extensive planning, coordination, and collaboration among multiple organizations to successfully bring the charging infrastructure from planning through installation and activation. Our team worked closely with Global Partners, Eversource, ChargePoint, and Verizon to coordinate the electrical, communications, equipment, and utility requirements necessary for the project.

The installation of the four DC fast chargers provides high-speed charging capabilities and supports the continued adoption of electric vehicles by public agencies. The project also represents an important investment in EV infrastructure, helping provide reliable charging capacity for electric police vehicles while supporting broader electrification efforts.

Through close coordination among the project partners, the charging stations were successfully installed, connected, and activated. The completed project demonstrates the importance of experienced project management and collaboration when deploying EV charging infrastructure that involves utilities, charging equipment manufacturers, communications providers, and site owners.
